wow.. im really shocked... I mean, the best (by far) PvP Server is going down. We lost this server 2 times now >.< Chaos Crusade and now Remnants of Chaos...

Opti&Rez, thanks for the best pserver time EVAR! Thanks for CC, thanks for ROC. Thanks for the greatest events ever! Ill miss this server, as ive missed CC.

I have followed Opti and CC for about 2 years. Loved how the dev actually fixed shit and how balanced it was compared to other servers.
It makes me really sad to see it go...
Oh well... good luck Opti with real life.

I can't really say anything. I stopped 2-3 months ago but I will miss you guys.
I'm glad I joined CC back then, it was a great fun to play here and there as well. Optical, you are just awesome. I'm an official fan of you, you are the best developer I have ever seen (maybe together with Burlex , but I haven't heard anything about him for a long time)

Thank you Opti for this wonderful time, this is very sad news. CC and RoC was the best pvp private servers that ive ever playd on since all of the others are just bullshit with 99994999999+ damage attack gear. I will miss RoC alot, joining Dominion to atleast play with some players from here. Good luck with your future life and i hope you reach all your goals in life.

When i first saw RoC after CC fell, i knew in the back of my head that it would eventually end again do to blizzard. On retail, I play on my cousin account for free whenever he was not on because 15 a month is way to much for me. If he was i would go on private severs and play around there and get off of them as soon as he was off. But then i found CC, and i loved pvp and the server its self, i love the whole idea of earning armor by killing just like in retail. So i think at the time i had a lvl 40 hunter as my main and it took me 2 years to get to 80 because of CC and then of course RoC. Now that i was 80 i dont play RoC as much as i used to but would still come on at least once a week.

My point with all this is that RoC and CC were the best god damn Private Severs ever made, and are the only to that could ever compete with Retail WoW and even at some points be better then it. Although i will look and make suggestions to other private servers to do what you did opti, there will never be any beter. Ever

Opti I hope you do good in life and thank you for the good times. Good luck doing what you want to do in life and im sure you'll be great at what ever that is.

thats bullshit that u guys gotta shutdown the server, every other private server sucks ass, this one was the best, i havent been playin it for more then a year but it was a better server then any other one i was on by a long shot, id even rather play on this server then go on retail, cause atleast with this server it was easy to make friends, u kno? everyone knew everyone. but yea i wish u guys didnt have to shutdown ima miss u guys if i do try to look for another private server i most likely wont find any that r close to bein as good as this one was. i wish u guys the best of luck. :-)

La verdad esque es una pena que el servidor cierre. Pero bueno nada es eterno.
Y si no hay remedio para que el servidor siga funcionando deciros que muchas gracias por el servidor. Es uno de los mejores servidores PvP que he visto. Y lo que mas me atrajo desde el primero momento fué eso de: NO DONATORS. Que es lo único que distingue a los buenos servidores.
Todo muy bien preparado, pensado, apenas sin bugs, la gente (aunque no entienda mucho de inglés) ha sido buena y amable, algunos incluso me dieron oro porque si xD

Y bueno me despido ya deseandote buena suerte con tus estudios, admirar que tu hayas pagado todos los gastos del servidor para que la gente disfrute y a cambio no pedir nada a cambio y no te preocupes por Blizzard. No pretenden 'cazar' a los creadores de los servidores, simplemente pretenden de alguna forma 'intentar bloquearlos'...

Well, this is indeed sad news:<. This server was the best server I played on (it beats retail by far due to the community and dedication that people have) and it is realy an awfull thing to see it die again. I played on Chaos Crusade since it opened it's first realm. The first guy I met on CC was Llama, or the greatest GM ever. I moved to the AV realm once it opened since it was a PvP realm and it fit me perfectly. Met a lot of great and skilled people there and I played like a madman untill I got banned some weeks before blizzard decided to shut it down first time. I came back to RoC in the first second I heared it opened and I played it since the very first beta stage when only a few people even knew it was here. Played here untill a couple of months ago and I had to quit due to lag problems. I can say with my hand on my heart that this was the greatest thing that could happen to me, meeting all these people and ending with a lot of frinds. Hope to see you all soon.
