Addition of extra PvE Gear. Options

We are all incredibly grateful for the malls. They cater to a wide variety of different specs from AP stacking, Crit stacking to etc...

However a main concern is that while Relentless Gladiator is sold in Halaa, alot of the more high end ToC Heroic items are not found.
If we are to be allowed such powerful items such as Relentless, why then could we not be allowed a Crystal Plated Vanguard or a Stormpike Cleaver? Though they may be on par in terms of stats to Relentless gear, lacking resilience and other defensive features, they would still be very much welcome.

So why not? Why keep such items away from us? You could add them in as Badge Rewards or for the same price of Furious Gladiators at 90 gold. It allows us flexibility and more options than what we have now. It also makes buying such gear stupid and irrelevant if Relentless would be better. Thus without such, it seems wasted.

Optical doesn't add the PvE gear 'cause he wants everyone using the same gear.

Certain talent tree's require certain pieces of gear. And such is not able to be so then. And if then that what you say is true, it still comes to the fact that due to the fact that Relentless is entirely better than any PvE gear you can buy currently, why on earth would anyone buy from the vendors if not for a trinket or two? This is just what he told me back when 3.1 came out and I asked why my Protadin wouldn't be getting any new gear.

'cause the PvE gear has more haste than the PvP gear. Right. Forgot. There's no Alacrity.

The point of a Prot Paladin is to either not get hit, or make it hurt way too much to make attacking you a good idea.

Neither is possible with Relentless gear given the incredibly low stats on it.

I play prot warrior and i focus to survive long enough for the enemy to run out of mana, die from my blocks or at the end fall for my damage. With prot i also have a greater chance to survive when fighting big raidgroups, for example av etc. The relentlees just gives damage and anti critt, no defence or any other stat that is usefull if you want to spec anything else. Every viable pvp specc does not have relentless gear, there is no "real" pvp specc, it differs from player to player so dont say all specs got relentless. And the schamans, mages etc, i have played on cc and its not like you say, the ones with haste gear are more vulnerable to high critts and got lower overall defence, so its your choice, hit hard die easy (get no killing sprees), hit low+almost impossible to kill(deal low damage and survive longer) or hit moderate and have moderate defence (relentless). As it is now all have the last option, moderate damage and moderate defence, are we supposed to run around with the same gear and be locked to your so called "PVP" speccs, arent we supposed to pick our own way of playing? Thats what pvp is all about, diffrent skills, builds, and stats fighting for the ultimate victory, not a bunch of guys with the same gear hoping to get the last hit and therefore survive.

k, try your different specs + playstyles @ 2,5k+ rating pls. now gtfo, vialable pvp speccs got rele gear, viable = 2,5k+

So just cuz you are arena specc and want high rating you are locked to relentless. That means all others should run around in the same gear and do arena all the time?
