So guys, today i saw this great server - http://www.katawow.com/index.php. There are only a few bugs which i haven't found, but i'm sure there are some. There ARE donators, but the gear they are getting is about tier10 so it's not much of a pain. Death Knight class works perfectly except some problems with the Ghoul. The biggest problem is the lack of community. So i think the RoC community should migrate there. Donor gear can also be obtained by participating in events, made by GMs. The server is great and the gear is free, but the lack of ppl is a major pain. So i hope you join. This server is great!

OMG this server is amazing.You get all your gear for free and you start doing BGs.I have played only blood DK and seems fine.But the only bad thing about the server is that it dcs every one every 20 min or so.But it is still quite interesting.

Yes, I said in a previous post this is where I am playing, I recommend this sever to all of the Remnants of the Remnants of Chaos community. It is very RoC like, but it will never match up to RoC.

Still, try it out people.

Kata is fine, most things work well.

The big problem is that there is nothing to work for. Everything is there and free.
While this makes it fun to just pick up and play, it kinda forces the server to it's low pop situation.

People log in, they play around, and once they are bored, they quit.
And only sometimes come back.

RoC had something to work for, and that's why it got big. People stayed to do the content.
Kata doesn't really have anything except PvP.

I'm happy you guys liked it. We might even make a guild for ourselves. If all of you want. And the things they said about not getting to do anything are wrong. We can try the [For the Alliance] Achievement to slay the Horde leaders. But we need a lot of ppl for that.

Theres is a few of us that started the guild on Kata as was mentioned, so if you need a new server and want to hang out - this may be the place for you. It doesnt have a huge server pop, but lets change that!

But anyhow on topic. I have 200 less SP on here and my dots are ticking about 500 damage more than they are on katawow. Going to make a huge list of priest bugs I have found.
also made a DK for fun and got my white to 3.4k-4k damage but my strikes are only hitting around 1k and my diseases are ticking for 400 each at most.

I have made a DK my white hits are pretty descent my dots crit 1.7k/each about 900dmg non-crit. Everything on the DK seems fine to me. I haven't tried priest. But the WSG restoration buff worsk. The DK pet works. That's pretty good, and fun to play. The only problem i've found so far is the lack of comunity. Please, when u log in with an alliance char on KataWoW be sure to find one of the Alliance Remnants of RoC (it means the ppl who remained united after the Great Shutdown tongue.gif )

then you are definetely doing it wrong,my styles hit a prot pallie for about 2,5-3k dmg (dk)

We already made a guild on there,easy to find,just type roc on search or yell in the mall,we will find you laugh.gif

It might be my character. Then again I have only fought ret pallies so I do not know if that has anything to do with it.

My priest on there is not worth playing.
My dots are ticking 500 damage average below my dots on here, with a few gear switches I have about 330 more SP than I have on here. Devouring plague does not work at all. Ticks 1dmg each tick. I am not seeing any mana restoration on dispells and have yet to fight any other class than a pally so I am not sure if fade works.

Im talking about that after GameFlare the owner of GameFlare (I believe it was paul if im right) gave the server to LegacyGames that just 10 days after quit it and yes if you google it you don't get any result for the server website becouse it's gone... tongue.gif

This is right, i've been on LG for a while and after that i moved to RoC. LG is rulled by Phail and Baldur, the last one i guess that old CC players know well.
I guess ill try LG again since they were talking about huge updates on their website.

How can your priest dots tick for 500?My shadow word pain ticks for 1000.Every dot is 800-1000.And even better is that they crit.I have 3400 spell power.3500 when i buy the vote shirt and then i start with gems biggrin.gif Pew Pew shadow priests own

How can your priest dots tick for 500?My shadow word pain ticks for 1000.Every dot is 800-1000.And even better is that they crit.I have 3400 spell power.3500 when i buy the vote shirt and then i start with gems biggrin.gif Pew Pew shadow priests own

Thats my death knights dots.
However shadow is underpowered . Those dots should be in the upper 1k. Near 1.6k each tick self buffed with that kinda SP

they got a shitton of bugs fixed, malls remade, and working raids, and they were working on a BG server.
all they needed was population, there was only about 6 people that played.

Katawow is the best place atm. ( since mmorpg/Roc are down )
You can practise a lot there and test all classes so you become more skilled.

So I havent been back to this site in a long time (first time actually posting) but I've been playing on KataWoW and have been driven nuts by you RoC guys on ally lol. Next time I get on I'll hit one of you guys up with my war (human, as opposed to all my other horde chars). I knew a guild named RoC was too much of a coincidence...

As a side note, it really is a great server and I feel like you dont get disconnected nearly as much as they make it sound.
